New Beginnings!

Okay, so I'd like to personally welcome myself to the world of blogging.
Why thank you, its so lovely to finally be here.
Yes, I am conversing via text to myself. Wow.

December has just begun and I'm rather optimistic about this month. Though it is only the 2nd, there is hope for a joyful December for me. Not being a huge fan of holidays myself, I'm still enjoying this time of year.
Awesome things about December:
-Peppermint bark from Williams Sonoma [Delicious chocolate combination.]
-It is now FULLY socially acceptable to drink hot chocolate at all times. [Though I already began this come October. Shh...]
-Christmas break [Heaven sent to any college student, including myself.]
-A Charlie Brown Christmas. Now thats just a classic.
-Snow! Having been living in Florida makes me a little unprepared for this Chicago weather but snow has come and I'm nothing less than thrilled.
-Mistletoes. I've never really been under one...yet! But who knows?! December awaits!
-Candy canes- 'nuff said.
-Family!
-Getting bundled up. I think its the cutest, seeing people in layers and shivering with pink cheeks. People look so much better this time of year, at least for me.

Isn't it funny how you can go from the lowest of lows to the highest of highs?
Last night I felt absolutely terrible, a tad bit heart shattering but life goes on. Maybe its just my attitude, keeping it positive no matter what the circumstance that helps me get by. I'm breathin', I'm still on this Earth, I can't complain. Things could be better, but they could also be worse thats always the case. So this morning I got excited thinking about December because that means its closer to January which brings about New Year's. The potential of new beginnings in every facet of your life: friendships, romances, finances, studies, etc. How can you be down when you think about that?! Think of how many people you've met this past year, how many things have changed you. The possibility of all that changing yet again is something to look forward to. I'm curious as to what I'll be like in the next couple months, the way I even write this blog might even change. Oh, the places we'll go!

December brings hope. And there is hope for all of us.
Happy Holidays.
